Bio
Emma was born and raised in California, where she developed a love of the outdoors and wilderness medicine. After guiding on rivers, and studying sustainable international development, she pursued her passion in medicine with her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies and Masters of Global Public Health at Touro University in California.
In 2016, she moved to Portland and began working in Trauma at Legacy Emanuel Hospital. She continued working in acute care settings in Orthopedic Trauma and then Emergency Medicine at community sites for OHSU.
Now relocated to the Gorge since 2021, she loves living in a community that thrives on getting outside and staying healthy. In her free time, she enjoys backcountry skiing, mountain biking, hiking and trail running, as well as spending time with her two pups and partner. She is excited to begin to serve patients in her home community, and looks forward to building lasting relationships with her patients.
